Tara Thigpen is the Catering Sales Manager and Event Coordinator at j.b.c. Originally from Columbia, SC, Thigpen has an innate love for food and experience in catering dating back to her childhood, when she helped her parents run their family owned restaurant and catering business. She attended Clemson University and graduated in 1998 with a BS in Marketing with concentration in Communications. After college, she continued to work her way through many areas of food and beverage, living in Boulder, CO, St. Croix, USVI and Saratoga Springs- settling in Charleston in 2003 and shortly thereafter joining j.b.c.
